Thank you for your PATIENCE! We now have 70 participants confirmed for the coming November memorial festival. Thank you all for making the commitment to come to Japan to share and commemorate this important moment.
We now have the details for the core Demo and seminar of the 2010 Gozo Shioda Memorial Festival.
Saturday, November 20th: All Japan/world Demonstration.
The Int`l community is expected to participate in the competition (Please see list of technique required for the “competition” of technique and free style “ according to students level), and also Demonstration.
Party/ceremony in the evening (6 pm)
A short clinic for the International students will be held in the morning before the demonstration by Takeno sensei. ( from 10 am )
Time/Location: Starts 11:30am ~ 5:20pm at Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park Gymnasium

Sunday, November 21: 3-hour clinic with Kancho, Ando Shihan, Sonoda Shihan, Payet Shihan, Chino Shihan and Oyamada Shihan
Location/time : November 21: (sun): meeting time 11.30, starts 12:00pm ~ 2:45pm at Koganei City Sports Gymnasium

#1 on the map is the Gymnasium. The station near #2 is Higashi Koganei Train Station. From either Tokyo station or Shinjuku station, you can take JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Higashi Koganei Station. From Tokyo Station, it will take 45 minutes. From Shinjuku Station, it will take about 25 minutes.
Free training at the Honbu dojo the week before and/or after the demo/clinic
Cost: 10000 Yen (including training, seminar, demo, party...or 3000 yen for accompanying person not training at the party) Please contact directly the branch dojo if you wish to train at an individual branch during your stay.
